Police investigate vandalism at church

BATH, N.B. – Police in New Brunswick are investigating two acts of vandalism in the village of Bath, including damage that was done to the doors of a Catholic church.

The numbers “666” were painted twice in red on the doors of the church, along with an upside down cross.

The RCMP says nearby on Church Street, a crosswalk sign was painted with what they believe is the same red paint.

The Mounties say the vandalism happened sometime through the night on Friday into the early morning on Saturday.
