Newfoundland cabinet minister returns from medical leave

ST. JOHN’S, N.L. – Newfoundland and Labrador’s minister of education and early childhood development has returned to cabinet after taking a medical leave in April.

Premier Paul Davis says Susan Sullivan resumed her duties on Monday and is back to full health after taking time off to deal with an undisclosed medical issue.

Sullivan also serves as the minister responsible for francophone affairs and the status of women.

Other cabinet ministers, including Davis, covered Sullivan’s ministerial duties while she was on medical leave.
