Poll: What kind of fan reaction does former Canucks goalie Roberto Luongo deserve?

He’s back!

Roberto Luongo skated with the Florida Panthers at Rogers Arena on Tuesday, two days in advance of their road game against the elite goalie’s former team — the Vancouver Canucks.

It’s the highly anticipated return of Luongo to Vancouver, where he spent eight seasons before being dealt to the Panthers in a blockbuster trade at the deadline last March.

He was a huge part of the Canucks team that made it to Game 7 of the 2011 Stanley Cup Final, and won a gold medal with Canada at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver.

And he won a lot of fans over later in his tenure Canucks with his sense of humour and the way he and Cory Schneider handled Vancouver’s goalie controversy.
