J.R. Smith’s greatest hits (and misses): Nov. 7, 2014: Suspended a game for striking Washington Wizards guard Glen Rice Jr. in the groin in a Nov. 4 contest. Jan. 8, 2014: Fined $50,000 for untying the laces of Shawn Marion in a game with the Mavericks and also doing the same against Detroit’s Greg Monroe.
