NEW VICTORIA, N.S. – Police in Nova Scotia say a 33-year-old woman is dead after two vehicles collided on a highway in Cape Breton.
Cape Breton Regional Police say the woman’s vehicle collided with a truck on a turn on Highway 28 in New Victoria on Saturday.
The driver and passenger of the truck were not injured, but their vehicle was badly damaged.
A forensic identification unit is investigating the cause of the crash.
Police say the victim was from the Sydney area.
