MOUNT PEARL, N.L. – Police say a masked intruder was detained by the homeowners during an alleged break and enter in eastern Newfoundland.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says the masked intruder entered a home in Mount Pearl around 5:30 p.m. Friday.
They say the home’s residents were able to detain the intruder until police arrived.
The 39-year-old man was charged with break and enter, uttering threats, assault and wearing a disguise with intent to commit an offence.
