French police taser little monkey on a chocolate-induced rampage

Hey hey, it’s the monkey that French police had to Taser because it went on a Kinder chocolate binge and may have hurt some kids but those kids may have picked on it first and life really isn’t fair to sweet-toothed monkeys, is it?

Marseille police Tasered a monkey on Monday after about a dozen emergency calls were placed about it in recent weeks, UPI reports.

On one occasion, the little monkey “scratched some children,” at a elementary school while trying to get that sweet chocolat fix.

A French newspaper says the North African macaque likely developed its chocolate addiction from kids who got it hooked on Kinder.

Reports say the monkey was likely being kept illegally and was abandoned and may have been bullied by school-aged children. Authorities are investigating into a potential owner.

The monkey, which wasn’t seriously hurt, has been turned over to a zoo to begin rehab. Bonne chance, monkey!
