TORONTO — Five people are hurt after a head-on crash between a Toronto transit bus and streetcar.
Police say the two vehicles collided around 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the city’s east end (at Danforth Avenue and Main Street).
They say the streetcar has been derailed and the area immediately closed to traffic.
The Toronto Transit Commission says three people, including the bus driver, suffered moderate injuries while two others sustained minor injuries.
Several transit routes have been redirected.
